Overview

The Dell 15'' Touch Screen Flat Panel Monitor (Model Name E153FPT) is a full color, liquid crystal display (LCD) that utilizes a high quality five-wire resistive touch sensor with a hardcoat top surface to enhance its durability, scratch resistance and reduce glare in the harshest of environments. Touch screens offer the most simple interface for users with PCs, they are known for their ability to help increase transaction speeds and maximize productivity.

Key advantages of Dell’s 153FPT 15'' Touch Screen include: Resistive technology enables it’s usage in the greatest number of environments because it registers any type of input - finger, credit card, gloved hand, etc.; the Hardcoat top surface resists spills, protects against scratches; it’s highly reliable, tested to over 35 million touches at a single point, durable and easy to maintain; the touch sensor reduces glare in highly lighted environments; the resistive sensor provides high touch-point resolution with fast, accurate responses.

While touch optimized applications are not required for touch screen usage they are especially compelling for: Customers with touch optimized applications (Retail Point-of-Sale, Manufacturing, Banking, Hospitality Kiosks, Food Service, Hospitals, Electronic Voting, Tablet applications); customers who utilize menu driven applications (Healthcare); customers who utilize browser driven applications (Call Centers); disabled users, or other users with mouse challenges.
